DSC_0381I had the best snowboard trip I could ever imagine. I’m feeling so sad to be back in Amsterdam. It was so amazing to have nothing else on my mind than just snowboarding and eating and having fun. Since my trip to London was finished the only thing I could think of was this ski trip! I was so excited because I had new snowboard clothes and we were going on this ski holiday with a great group of friends!

We had the loveliest stay in Vital Hotel Edelweiss. We were welcomed with lots of love and everyone was so friendly! We arrived on Sunday around 6 o’clock. We settled down first and when we arrived in the amazingly luxurious dining room, I couldn’t believe what I saw. There was a buffet with lots of sushi, sashimi and all kinds of delicious food. The quality was so great. Everyday we had a five-course menu and everyday I was stressed I couldn’t eat the desert, because I was already satisfied. The hotel had its own ‘House Dog’: Kiara. I was in love with her. IMG_4466huilknklPicMonkey CollageIMG_4469IMG_4521IMG_4495 IMG_4470The next morning was also jaw dropping because the breakfast buffet was also crazy. Donuts, muffins, croissants and sweet cakes were set for us. You could order pancakes, eggs. Everything you can think about: they had it. AMAZING!!! The first day of snowboarding was just great. We had beautiful weather and the snow was perfect. It was pretty cold, but in the sun it was fine. I always hire a snowboard and this time I had an amazing Burton snowboard.

IMG_4515After snowboarding we went back to the hotel. We were welcomed with, again, just a ‘small’ afternoon bite which we could eat on their terrace. Next we went to the spa and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Every little detail was as beautiful as the other. They had several sauna’s and my favorite was the herb-sauna with organic herbs, originating from the mountains. This sauna was not as hot as the others, only 55 degrees.

IMG_4493IMG_4492 IMG_4491 IMG_4490Besides this sauna there is a regular sauna, steam bath, ice fountain, foot-bath, a shower with a cold bucket above you, a swimming pool, heated chairs where you can relax and amazing beauty treatments. I’ll tell you about that in a later blogpost!IMG_4499 IMG_4500The next day I planned a private snowboard lesson at Ski Schule Neustift. I made an appointment with Gert for two hours and it was so much fun. I think it’s good for yourself and your skills to keep improving your style. That way you’ll master and experience more fun! I’m very satisfied about the ski school. Everyone was nice and just relaxed. There was a cool vibe! And the ski school was perfectly located: on the Stubaier Gletcher! You can’t miss it. Also for the lovers of wine: they had excellent wines and very extraordinary ones. I had a prosecco with rhubarb and it was delicious! The wines were saved in a professional wine cellar.

In short: I had the best week of the year so far! 😉IMG_3773IMG_4227IMG_4219
